Default stroker kits

ive thought about getting a stroker kit for my 4.6 im lookin on the vtengines.com right now at the 4.6 to 5.0 conversion stroker kit. says starting at $2395.00. is that bad price and what kind of gains would i see ?

vtengines has a shortblock GT pro 302 stroker short block. price is $4395. would that be worth it...how much power would i get along with full exhaust bolt ons heads cams intake.

Not worth it unless you are going to build the motor N/A or run some sort of FI. On a stock engine you will see little or no gains. The stock heads and cams will not make power in the RPM range the forged assembly will allow you to run.

A typical heads/cam/intake car (with full exhaust and boltons) will see anywhere from 320 to 340 RWHP.

What about the stock 32v heads/cams? :-p
if you want to go to the massive expense of swapping to a ported/cam'd 4v setup then yes the forged assembly would do quite nicely

Code spent a ton of cash on extra stuff to make the motor 100 percent bullitproof. It is really easy to just start bleeding cash when building a n/a 4.6.

The forged stroker assembly is simply not worth it until you do something with the heads and camshafts.
