Default SPRINGS ON 96 VERT

I want to put springs on my 96 GT convertable... I want to drop it, and tighten its handeling up. I want to drop it more than the 1.5 inch drop on most convertable kits, can I use the coupe springs to do this? Also why is there two seperate kits for coupes and convert's? Is it the weight? What kit should I go with.... Im running 275/40/17 if that helps, and the car sees the track once in a while

Go with H&R supersports, I love mine.

Dropped my car ~2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.

Yeah, but those are 350 dollars.... and I'm kinda poor. Ok, I'm really poor. And is there anyway I can put these in using spring compressors and without paying to have it done. The only thing I really want to pay for is the allignment.

I pulled the eibachs out of my 98 vert yesterday. It looks like they are the parts for a 79-93 coupe

3510.301 in front and 3510.302 in the rear.

They lowered the car real nice.
I will be selling them on ebay starting on wednesday
I am thinking of starting them at $15.00 with no reserve.

I went with the Steeda sport springs and they improved my handling beyond belief. Good product. Go to www.steeda.com for more info.

Here is a link to my '98 GT vert lowered with the Steeda springs: https://mustangforums.com/photo.asp?...type=6&apage=1
