HEY EVERYONE, I AM BUYING A 2004 MACH 1 TODAY. IM TRADING IN MY 02 TRANS AM, SO I AM NEW TO THIS WHOLE FORD THING.LOL. I AM HAVING AN ATI PROCHARGER PUT ON WITH 11 OR 12 PSI. WHAT TYPE OF POWER GAINS AND 1/4 MILE TIMES CAN I EXPECT? THE CAR IS A 5 SPEED MAN. WHAT WOULD I RUN WITH MICKEY THOMPSON ET STREETS? THANKS FOR THE HELP EVERYONE. IM NOT EVEN TAKING THE CAR HOME BEFORE THE CHARGER GOES ON. AND THEN IM TAKIN IT TO HAVE IT TUNED BY MARYLAND PERFORMANCE. THEY ARE AWESOME AT TUNING. TRUST ME, ITS HARD. I LOVED MY FIRST TRANS AM, HATE THIS 1. ITS AN AUTOMATIC AND ITS 600 PER MONTH.LOL WITHOUT INSURANCE. SO..... ITS WHAT I HAVE TO DO, BUT THIS WILL BE A NASTY STANG. I WILL NEVER STOP ADDING TO IT.

Ah...it's an auto...well nevermind then...

I don't think the Mach I block is worthy of much boost, and I don't think the pistons/rods are forged. You might have to build the bottom end to boost 11 psi on it.

SOME SORT OF OFFROAD H-PIPE OR X-PIPE (BBK, MAGNAFLOW, ETC.) AND FLOWMASTER 2 CHAMBER DELTA FLOW MUFFLERS!

I wouldnt go too wild with the boost. I'd start with the 8lbs of boost and go from there! however with the 11-12lbs of boost on the mach 1 I'm guessing you would be looking at around 450 to the wheels, possibly more! with that hp be prepaired to do some suspension work! with that set up and slicks, you would be easyyyyy 11's possibly mid 10's...atleast i think so. As far as your exhaust if you want that puppy sounding mean go with longtube headers with the offroad H and spintech mufflers!

also dont foget your bottom end is only rated to about 450hp I believe! you'll be playing with fire doing all that would and not getting forged internals! check out x2cmotorsports, they have a nice manley forgerd piston and rod combo for $1199...that also wouldnt be a bad idea!

DUDE TRY TURNING OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK.

I WOULD GO WITH A MAGNAFLOW X-PIPE AND MAGNAFLOW OR MAGNAPACK MUFFLERS. THROW SOME 4.10 GEARS AT YOUR MACH 1 AND RADIALS. IF YOU CAN DRIVE YOU CAN EXPECT SUB 13 SECOND ET'S.
