I cant tell you from experience... its a drivers race stock vs stock. The torque curve on the cobra's is just straight funky..... with the second set of intake valves closed till over 3250 rpms, the torque just stays almost flat line, then shoots up.. same w/ the hp.. The cobra's make power at a higher point then the GT's as well.... Also, the SN's only put 270trq to the rear wheels.. its very close torque vs torque between the GT's and Cobra's.. If your going 1/4 its neck and neck just because of the setup on the cobra. If your going from any type of roll, cobra will win hands down with those extra ponies (again from experience).. and if your going from a roll with a cobra that has 4.10's? have fun watching tail lights disappear...

I am very lightly modded.. and with terrible 60' times I still push 14 flat.. usualy closer to mid 14's with my terrible 60' time.. the track prep since they changed owners is pretty bad from what I have been told by other guys who go often.. and my tires just SUCK on the track.. soon to fix that though [8D]

^^ Yeah I had a feeling it was because of the torque that the 2v pushes. The 4v cobras are all about up-top and have weird looking torque curves.

yea, that makes sense with the higher revving engine, that it wouldnt be as potent at lower speeds and lower rpms in the first couple gears

pretty much though, it is much more productive for a 4v to get some 4.10's than it is for a GT to, just because it will be more liking to the curves for the cobras

Thats true as well.. you just have ot have the tires/suspension to match... I think i would have actualy ran better at the track with 3.27's with my crappy tires.. atleast I could have gotten off the line much quicker... but again.. that'll be fixed real quick like [8D]
