ive seen them mounted on the upper part of the main front opening (bigger opening) they were small round one and one on each side but it looked stupid. i wanted to try to mount them behind the screen of the smaller holes so you can see them unless theyre on but i havent gotten around to it yet

maybe you could fit two round ones on each side instead of the factory ones being split between two holes. That would be pimp.

i meant on the two smaller holes more in the middle. if you split it then it wouldnt really show up too much

im getteng the saleen hood put on. i should have some pics in a couple weeks. $852 shipped for an extra $100 i couldve gotten the E hood but the vents are open, the normal saleen hood have screens in front of the vents so nothing can get in there. im going all saleen though. im not sure how the cobra stuff would look with the saleen sides and back. try the chop shop see if they can do it for you so you can see what it looks like before you decide

ok, cool thanks. I might just go saleen as well. Would it be corny t get the SALEEN filled in on the rear bumper or not? That is the only thing that will say saleen. Most people around here wont even know what that i.lol.

PS- What do you guys think of this hood? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...spagenameZWDVW

Oooo, or what about this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...32896553QQrdZ1

no its more unique to fill the letters on the rear bumper in. not sure of the cost but it wouldnt look bad. im going to put the ss inserts in there and thats another option but it will still say saleen. its all about preference

the hood is a fake one. i bought one for about 640 shipped and it didnt come with the screens for the vents and it wasnt made the best. it couldve easily looked like a real one but it just felt cheap and the edges needed a lot of work. i sent it back and paid the 850 shipped for a real saleen hood and it comes with all you need. it was an extra 210 for me and i think itll be worth it, plus i get a free liscence plate frame and saleen plate. i got it from haneymotorsport.com theyre pretty good. its you choice if you want a real or fake saleen hood. and the only pic that is the hood you want is the close up pic of the hood white and black, the 2 pics of the cars are the sn-95 model which looks different. good luck if you need any other help post here, pm, or im me.
