Default Ford C Springs

I am thinking of the Ford Racing C springs but I want to see them on a car before I order them. From what I understand I will not need c/c plates with these springs. I also want to make sure handling is improved. The springs also have to reduce the 4 x 4 look.
Anyone with these springs please post pics so I can see them installed. Thanks/Chris

you will not need the c/c. handling will improve. 4x4 look reduced. the front will go down more than the rear. I don't have pics. oh, and if you get an aftermarket midpipe with cats, it will scrap on a lot of speed bumps.

All of the above is true. I have them too. Check my photo album. The picture with the 232 emblem on the fender is when I had eibach pro kits on it 1.5" drop. I'll never do that again (my back is still hurting from all the bone jarring).

isnt the eibach pro kit the same as the Ford C springs? both offer a 1.5" drop?

that's what i got, the pro-kit and it is about 1.5", it looks so much better. However i am having some clunking and squeaking outta the rear end now. probably b/c i still have the stock shocks in there and they are bottoming. any suggestions on some good shock for lowered stang?

how much $$ do you want to spend? cause you can spend anywhere from $150 - $1000

I looked at the pictures of your car. I think the stance before the engine swap is what i'm looking for. After the engine swap it looks like you have stock suspension. It might just be the pictures though. BTW you car still looks sweet as hell

Thanks for the compliment.

The pics before the swap are with eibach pro kits. They are not the same as C springs. I loved the stance and handling of the eibachs but I couldn't stand the speedbumps and somewhat harsh ride over bumps. Oh well, there's tradeoffs to everything. I would have kept the eibachs anyway however, when I swapped engines the front springs were not rated for the 4.6 and would have dropped the front further and risk even more speed bump damage. I sold and bought the C Springs.

I once scraped on a hard plastic speed bump and it melted onto my cats. That plastic stunk for a while.

i went with bbk specific rate springs. they advertise 1.5' drop. there correct with that i have no issues with those. it handles great and hits bump almost like stock.
