Default 4.30gears

If i install lightened Moser 4.30 gears in my 97 Mustang Gt. How much time will it take off my 1/4 mile time. This is a stock gt except for exhaust and intake. I was supposed to get them a long time ago but never got around to it; thats why i have them in my signature.

I don't have personal experience with them, but Ace will back me on this. Get 4.30s...and you will blow your load when you touch the gas.

Yeah, I would imagine, if you can hook, more than 1/2 second.

Compensate with some traction and a hard launch, you could drop .5 or more off your time. God dammit I love gears.

With out buying some sticky tires and probably a little suspension work (ca's at the least).. I'd say you'd lose a few tenths sitting at the line. Lol, just make sure to get some sticky **** tires to go with them.
