Radar detectors work by catching the signal that's reflected and bounces around the area radar is used. Laser detection should work this way, but I'm unsure of how that defracts when it hits something, if it does a fair amount, you'll get the warning, but if not, you're screwed.

lol yes "cop" would be sweet lol, but if they are movin no i dont believe laser will get you, but dont quote me, they will pace you if they are travelin with you and proabably give you a warning if they dont use laser or radar. lets say you are going down the road, you hear your radar detector "detect" laser, you are done, with radar he wil lprobably clock you a cpl tiomes because they arent accurate enough to use just once, and it is also a lot slower moving than laser so if you slam on your brakes you will probabaly drop your speed for the radar detector, so either way, you **** out of luck, to put it nicely lol
sorry i forgot, if you are traveling, you will probably pick up the "radar" from a far distance, because radar is so scattered it goes everywhere, probably doesnt make sense but, it wil lbounce off everything and get to your detector, thats how you can "see" them around corners and "through" hills. where as laser it has to be pointed very very accurately but if it is, it will give very accurate readings to a visible object only

ya only 2 places there ILLEGAL VA(where i live) and DC(which isnt even a state) so... 49 states allow radar detectors and 1 state doesnt... Whats wrong with this??
