Rings are the weak point as far as durability on the bottom end.

Just get the engine rebuilt. 111,000 miles is not a lot...it's no short throw either, but not A LOT. I'd consider 135,000+ a lot.

When I do the head swap should i look into replacing the rings or will that require pulling he pistons out of the block? Thanks

my engine is startin to lose the oil through the valve seals. The level goes down but there are no other signs? as in plugs look perfect and NO smoke. No leaks either (anymore haha)
I'm gonna run my engine till it dies. Then something totally awesome gets put in it's place
