That sounds great! Reminds me of my race cam chevy days. I may have to look into the camshaft upgrade.

thanks.. ya it does sound pretty mean, i just ordered the racepipes that can be bolted inplace of the cats that way it gives me the O/R or catted option for the track, i bet it sounds alot better if i was to do that, but not for everyday

I was wondering if there was any loss in low end tq or if the powerband seems to have shifted way up. I've been looking into doin the non pi cams in the pi motor to make some power, but if the car was gonna be a dog around town-it may not be worth it-so where exactly is the powerband at?

Did you do valve springs? I just talked to comp, and they claim that you would need to do valve springs with any of their cams. He told me that the stage 3 cams are way too much for a stock 2v motor, because you wont make peak HP until way over redline. The stage 2's with valve springs would be much better, and to still get the non-pi version. Please give us some info on seat of the pants differences, and I would love to see a dyno chart. It looks like $220 for the valvesprings, and $600 for the cams. Is that about right??

Hello??? Are we ever going to see a dyno sheet? And what other mods to you have exactly. Im pretty much going to buy the same setup you got, and I would like some real details if you got them. Like I said in one of my last posts, I talked to Comp and they dont recommend going stage three PI or non PI for a stock motor. Are you sure you got the stage three 102300's?
