I just read like 15 threads on useless tuners.... let's just say it's getting to me.

Guys, cheap hp doesn't exist. COmapnies like hypertech and diablosport are built on lies. Modding is a money game, how fast do you wanna go?

ANy mod ever > handheld tuner
the tuner helps to wake up the auto (no power gain) shifts. I had a tune on my car for awhile and it made the auto a little snappier. and I believe it is the ONLY way to calibrate your speedo in a 99-04 auto if you do gears. but I would not do it as a first mod or as a horsepower mod in any way shape or form. they are just about pointless for a 5 speed.

Okay i guess ill weigh in on the tuner subject. I may be in the minority, but my predator tuner made a world of difference. I lost a ton of torque down low when i put my full exhaust on. The canned predator tune gave me back my lost torque down low and then some. So i would have to say my tuner was one of my best investments. Just my opinion though

MPG will go down the tubes with 4:10's
I put in 3:55's heck of a diff. and still get 20 mpg
They tell me there's a big diff. btween 3:73 and 3:55,
But your desision. Def. wouldn't go for the 4:10"s
Underdrive pulleys?mmmm summit basics $98
No need for fancyness( waste of money)

um shyea ur wrong... big misconception... almost anyone that gets 410s only notices a slight 1-2 mpg change in driving, and that all depends on how u drive it and if its highway or w/e.. with 410s ull only rev 3k at 80 mph so... and then even so people(at least cobra people lol) say that 410s arent enough and say go with 430s or 456(mainly strip but ppl still do um)

355s and 373s are a waste unless ur going FI.. but if u wanna waste the $$ thats ur decision..

back to ur mods:
4.10s gears(buy install kit too)
TB & Plenum
Steeda/March - Underdrive Pulleys
MGW or Tri-AX shirt throw shifter(MGW first then steeda)
Ummm some LT headers would be a nice addition to ur exhaust, but then ide recomend changing the flows.. but... thats just me..
lowering springs

think thats a good start lol
