Propane Conversion? Injection?

Propane Conversion? Injection?
I'm not even sure if it is possible, and honestly I'm not really considering it, but I was just curious. There is a Excursion down in NM that my wife knows the owner, that is running 14.4 and that's at 3600+ ft. She says that he's running propane, either Injection or conversion, I'm not sure. But I was wondering if something like that is possible in a GT, and if it would help. Thanks again.

RE: Propane Conversion? Injection?
Propane can also run in a gas motor. The oil field has many many many gas motors that run on propane. My buddys chevy 2500 also runs on it. I will say that it burns cleaner in a gas motor, but it is way hotter and some will argue that the rings will not last long on a gas/ propane converted motor. There are no power benifits to running propane unless you has extra fuel to burn with it............like a diesel makes. The black suit that comes out of a deisel motor is unburnt fuel that when burned=more power. The reason it isnt used like this for gas engines is that propane will burn at almost the same rate as gasoline so dumping gas and injecting propane wont realy get you very far in a gasoline motor. The deisel burns slower and can have great virsitility as to a power adder injection like propane nitrous and water/meth injection. The sad part is my F-350 can almost keep up with my mustang I run propane water/meth and Co2. The truck makes about 750lbs of torque on 20psi of boost and 22.5/1 compression.............owy said the dyno. lol
