Default white face gauge question...

i installed somw white face gauges in my car and i put everything back together just like how its suppose to go but they don't light up. Can anyone help me out as to why. It looks as if the gauge cluster has lights that light up but its not light through the white face gauge or its not lighting from the front of the cluster or whereever it gets the light from? any one think they know what i could be doing wrong?

depends on which ones you installed.

Did you do overlays or the whole front cluster board?

even without the power inverter to turn them either blue or green i figure they would light up but they don't. then i installed that and they still don't light up. make all the connection and everything. its been irritation the **** outta me trying to get them to turn on so i can see how they look.

i plugged the back 2 pieces back in and ran the red wire and tapped it into the silver wire that controls the lights and then ran the black wire to a ground. Then I plugged the gauge itself into the power inverter that contains the positive and negative wires that i already mentioned. I just don't understand why the gauge won't turn on. I have 3 autometer gauges on my a-pillar that still work and light up and my headlights and all that works. The white face gauge just won't light up. the alarm light flickers like it should, the traction control lights up. it all works minus the gauge.

MAKE sure u ground the black wire properly... There should be a steel tube when u dismount the whole gauge. If you do not ground the black wire properly, there will be no electricity flow hence why you dont see the gauge lights...
