Same here. Mine have been like that pretty much since I bought it. I've tried a couple different things and nothing seems to work. Its ok though, I just tuck it in the door when I slam it shut.

hey how do u remove the loop. i just tried removing it but the stupid head rest is in the way. i saw the loop had to hex screws in there but how do i remove the head rests higher or completely off

use a bit from a screwdriver set. you can stick the bit in under the head rest and hold it down with a finger while you turn it with a wrench or pliers or something. that's my gameplan for whenever I get around to removing those stupid things

if you have any kind of warranty left on your car id take it to the dealership...theres a TSB on it. they gave me brand new seatbelts. theyre a little bit better.
