just letting you guys know that are looking for hoods i just won a 3" cobra r hood on ebay for $150 brand new. Its from a dealer and he has alot of other ones so I figure I'd let you guys know there are good deals on hoods on ebay.

And I'd add to be cautious when ordering body parts from ebay. I found a great bargain (so it seemed) on a hood on ebay. It just arrived. I put it on and the fitament is awful. Our hood hinges aren't adjustable to bring it into line, not to mention the damn thing tapers in towards the front so I've got a small gap in the rear that just grows into the grand canyon by the time it reaches the front end. Sometimes a bargain isn't worth the pixels it's made with.

Cheap fiberglass hoods suck and fit terribly. I hope its a decent one.

Carbonware hoods are excellent quality.

i contacted the seller and they told me that its a direct bolt on that uses the oem style. heres what they told me.

"Hoods attaches just like a factory hood." they could be lying but its got a 30 day return on it.
