Default Cobra R- Clone?

I went with the 1999 Rio Red GT and I have, like most, fallen in-love with the 2000 Cobra R. My qiestion being, would it be worth doing? I mean Hood, Front fascia, spoiler and wheels. Then eventually Brembo brakes, suspension and so forth. I have never seen a 2000 Cobra R in person. I'm not going to claim it as one. If they ask i'll be honest. But I don't want people to call it a Fobra...

My opinion is, don't make a car out to be something that it's not. It just gives it a bad name. That's my $.02

Getting the hood and wheels would be cool. But the front facia and the wing are what really defines a true CobraR.....thats when it turns into a "Fobra" as you said.

I'm not a big fan of the Mix & Match. I'll just buy the hood scoop. Sell the bullits and put stock GT wheels on it.

There wasn't a normal cobra in 2000, only the cobraR.

And yes, it has side exit exhaust and a v6 bumper. Well...it started as a v6 anyway, so it retained the stock v6 bumper.

ahh... so this was someone's attempt at a clone. I really thought it was a cobra R until i saw the exhaust was out the a$$ end. then it was just a clone... it was a good one tho! The interior was plain everything but also a giveaway was the fact it had a radio/cd player and it had a/c.

was cool lookin either way
