Default Bassani Vs. Magnas

W/ Partshopper's discounts, I am pretty sure I'm going to go w/ the magna cat back for about $360.. sounded damn good to me. As far as the X pipe, I have a choice between Bassani aluminized for $400 and the magna SS catted for about the same... which would you choose and why?

Always go with stainless if you can afford it. It is less likely to rust. Aluminzed is still steel and most exhaust systems rot from the inside out because of the water and the coating usully doesn't penetrate very deep into the interor of the pipe.
And the Magan X is real nice, and a bassani is big money for SS.

I agree with Silver. We run the same set up with the exception that he has the Magnapacks and I have the Magnaflows. Go with their catted X...you won't be disappointed!

You can't go run w/either X-pipe. Both are good quality, but you are paying a little more w/the Bassani x. I have the Bassani mid-length headers, Bassani x-pipe, & Magnaflow cat-back, so I switched it up a bit. Bassani definitely has a distinctive sound.

Magnapacks are LOUD!! I installed mine this weekend. Sweet as hell at idle. At WOT they're the loudest exhaust I've ever heard.

*EDIT* I forgot to mention that I have cats. If you don't then I wouldn't get the packs. Just my .02

Magnapacks are tubular glasspacks. Sound - over 95db...pretty damn loud!

Regular Magnaflows are wide straight through mufflers
