what should i do?
ok here's the deal. i have a 96 gt with mac catback. i have 18" y2k's waiting for me to buy tires so i can put them on. if i sell them i could get at least 650 bucks for them. im graduating in 4 weeks and im getting at least 1k probably more. what should i do with the money? should i;
use it to buy tires
springs
vrs o/r x pipe
and be on my way to college with a good looking/sounding NPI mustang?
or should i sell the rims and;
get my pi heads ported & polished by steen (190 cfm @ .550 intake/165 cfm @ .550 exhaust)
have comp cams xe274h cams and new valve springs
pi intake
mph tune with xcal2
or
something else? let me know this will the largest amount of money to mod my car in a long while since im startin college.
id really like to have the performance gain from the heads/cams but rollin through ATL on chrome 18"s in a lowered vert sounds o so appealing (ladies here i come)
lemme know what you guys would do if you were in the same situation

i thought about that but the p&p'd npi heads flow better. i wouldnt have the money to have the pi heads worked on and i dont really plan on any major power adding after this so the "potential" to have them worked on later means nothing to me.

Wheels/Tires, suspension, x-pipe.
You are going to college dude, and your mustang will never be fast enough. So make it look nice for now, deal with the mods later. Thats the realization I have come to[&:]

i just looked up prices and the cheapest i could find for a 295/18 and 265/18 were bfg kdw2's and it totaled over 800!! damn the tires cost more that the porting. ill be lucky if i can get just springs after that or some black headlights. i hope i find a good paying job in college when i move to ATL

oh this is extra spending money for graduating. that stuff is taken care off and i know how costly it is cause my sister is going through the whole deal.
im thinkin maybe just the p&p'd heads and keep the rims cause idk how much all of the little stuff will cost like a head changing kit and whatnot. would it be safe to run a while without a tune if i just have p&p'd heads. theoretically just opens airflow. when i get a job after i move ill get the tires for then.
