What can I do to get more MPG?

RE: What can I do to get more MPG?
kinda dumb to buy another car to save gas if your stang isn't heavily modded with any street compromises.
my car is very heavily cammed, extremely loud, drag suspension, high miles on the car (not much on the motor tranny or any performance parts) and sits on drag radials. so i have a brand new truck i drive every day, and i get about 16-20 mpg depending on how much highway driving i do.
what's the point in spending say even as little as 2 or 3 grand on a daily driver just to save gas on a lightly modded stang with no street comrpomises? it'll take years to offset the fuel costs alone.
if your gonna do it, do it because you want to keep the miles down on it, you park it in a covered area or cover it, and want to keep it pristine among many other reasons.
not just to get an extra 10 mpg.

RE: What can I do to get more MPG?
the basic intake/exhaust boltons
cai
k&n filter
tb
plenum
headers
midpipe
catback
also a tuneup will make it run better and give you lost mpg
pvc valve
new plugs
plug wires
fuel filter
air filter (k&n as mentioned b4)

RE: What can I do to get more MPG?
After I got my Bassani catted X, i got another 15-20 miles per tank. I got mine used from a friend for $100, so it didn't take long to pay for itself. Plus the sound is definitely worth it.
