LM1's imo with an o/r mid pipe sound like crap. And yes I've heard both o/r x, and o/r h pipe, neither were all that appealing to me. And what's up with everyone hating on flows?? Why else do you think everyone has them??

Because they have no idea whats out there. My good friend told me to get either flowmaster or a magnaflow catback when I first got my car. I knew I didn't want flowmaster at the time just because I knew everyone had them and I wanted to be different. I went with magnaflows which sound good, but are WAYYY to quiet for a muscle car. Needless to say, I signed up here and won't listen to that friend for car help again, lol.

Now that I know what is out there, such as Loudmouths, Stingers, Race Bullets, etc... I would never put another chambered muffler on my car. I think a lot of other people don't want flowmaster because like I said, EVERYONE has them and they don't sound good, IMO. Owners who Ive talked to hate them because of the drone and think that they sound VERY inferior to something like the LM2's and want to get rid of them right away.

Its not even that they sound THAT bad, its just that they are very inferior to a lot of other type of catbacks out there, IMO, and in a lot of other peoples opinions too.

Its just that 9.5 times out of 10 if you put a mustang with Flows next to a car with LM's or Stingers, and person would want the LM or Stinger car more.

Yea Anti is right.

LM1's with a catted X, and LM2's with an o/r. That will give you a cleaner sound if you think the LM1's are raspy. Although an o/r X even with the LM2's are going to be choppy... Thats what happenes with any o/r midpipe.

Plus I really don't think my LM1's and o/r X are raspy... I think its more choppy than raspy, which I like.

LM2's + Catted X is the cleanest, best sound I have heard on a mustang though. Not loud enough for me though, and I didn't want a "Clean" sounding stang... I wanted it to sound like a death squad.. And thats what I got.

Ive had my exhaust for about 3-4 weeks now, and a couple of my friends who have been around the car since I first got it done are still dropping their jaws when I start it up and ride away. [8D]
alright lm2's with x wit cats it is thanks mebix and i have done some research it looks like slp is the cheapest also bette jump on em

also do you think i should save up buy the whole 330 kit from slp and sell the ud pullies due to a supercharger is on the way , and what would a 160 degree thermo do with a super is it efficent or sell it too? and the diablo hand held do i need it with the super or does the super need just one tune and ur good or does diablo work with a supercharger, i dunno about them at all?

Can anyone post up here clips of the LM1's, Lm2's or various exhausts? That might help a lot? I've d/l'ed the IMCO exhaust and it is alright.. Ihave chambered Flowmasters on it now and it has a smooth, deep sound to it that I like, but I wan't something louder.

What do u guys, think of this setup for my 02 Gt, BBK LT's, Mac Prochamber H pipe, and LMII's. Deep and loud or loud and raspy?
