i dont think they make a short ram for the mustang , technically i dont see how they can , wind from outside would have to directly hit the filter to be short ram. Like if there was a vent instead of a fog light and the vent blew the air on the filter. Thats what my understanding of Short Ram air is.

thats why its a CAI :-p JLT does have a RAI kit, though I THINK it only is for the mach1... I may be mistaken, but I KNOW that JLT has an RAI for the mach1 (which is a ram air intake, DUH!)

i made my own short ram air for my 240sx. There was a vent below the Turn signal so i took some PVC pipe and routed it up into the air filter box. I think i got rian water up in something once from doing that.

A short ram isn't a ram air... A short ram is basically a tube from the TB with a filter that sits in the engine compartment, they are pretty useless, they suck all of the hot air inside the engine compartment... They can also mess up your MAF because the fan blows air around the engine compartment and it throws the MAF off...

I have that K&N on my car.... its fine. I like it alot better than those ones that go into your fenderwell. I have a nice hole where my old one was and alot of air comes up through there... so its not all hot air.
