Mach has a GT tranny in both Auto and Manual version. All GTs from mid 2001 on had Tremec 3650.

id say buy the GT and supercharge it...you will laugh at the silly hoods on the mach when you are miles ahead!!! hahahahaha plus, why buy a mach when you can build a GT bigger and faster with the spare money? its just bragging rights for saying "i got a mach 1" lol

Mach I's in the end is better. Already has kick *** internals and if I'm correct aluminum block. ANd it will be worth more because was only made for couple of years. Plus interior and exterior are just totally kick ***. My next car hopefully is a Mach I.

the difference is one has 2V per cylinder and the other has 4.... I don't know about you but if I had the choice here I would say bigger is better... the "it's all how you use it" rule does not apply in this situation, on top of that although I havn't owned one, people say the seats are more comfortable and they "wrap around you" and give you more of a sporty feeling than the GT
