I thought you guys were taking that whole platsic piece off the air filter. That's what I saw some guys doing. I guess if you just took the rubber out or cut it so the whole wasn't so small it would work as long as you were still gettig cool air from the fender.
Yeah dude just removing the small rubber part, the opening is still right there by the fender opening. I only did it because I refuse to waste money on a cold air because I am going to supercharge my car and I dont feel the need to waste 200 bucks on an intake. lol

bingo... and 200 dollars is a waste. Just get an ebay intake. Don't flame me, I've seen them on people's cars and they are comparible to most of the metal intakes out there. Heat soak doesn't really apply because the air is flowing so fast it doesn't have a chance to.

If I ever get a different intake, it will be from ebay and be for bling. [8D]
