Default PRO TURBO

Pro Turbo Systems has single and Twin-Turbo systems available for "87"-"04" 5.0 and 4.6 applications. Priced at around $3,900-$5,900. I was just wondering what you all thought about this system and other turbo systems for are cars vs. superchargers.

NOTE: I was going to post this in the V-6/Turbo section, but because this turbo is for 5.0&4.6 I put it here.

Thats the same way I am. I know I will be adding one or the other at some point, so I thought to myself who better to ask than a bunch of mustang nuts. Look back on this post and see what they say, maybe we will both learn something.

May not be the best most professional site, mainly because its not driven specifically toward cars at all, but check out howstuffworks.com and go to there auto section. I started reading stuff to learn about cars and different things have to do with cars such as S/C's and Turbos and they give you a good base idea, such as the difference between the two and the advantages and disadvantages of them both.

Sounds like you at least have a cool computer ... lol .... I just saw that you are in Afganastan, which means that you are either a terrorist who is set out to destroy america by giving bad mustang advice so we will all crash (lol) or you are a soldier. if you are a terrorist you suck, but if you are a soldier stay safe and thanks for your service brother!

Basically... Turbo > S/C. But it costs quite a bit more. Also I dont know of any turbo kits that are 50 state emissions legal (matters to me because I live in CA). I personally am going to go with a centrifugal S/C when I do mine, just because I cant justify spending 7000+ for a turbo kit for my car when I bought the entire car for 7900. lol

Post up a link though so we can check out the turbo kit you have found. I know the kits by HP Performance are like $7000 or so though.
