Tri-ax shifter noisy?

mine is extremly noisy when my windows are up. Especially after pusing the car car after a few races, it gets even noisier...

I used cobra bob's gasket and retained the stock boot thing.

I noticed no additional noise over stock.

I do notice more heat transfer, however my shift **** is a real 1ball which is an excellent insulator and is also nice if you have big hands.

Try buying a set of shifter gaskets. There was a sight called shiftergaskets.com a while back. I used permatex and now my shifter is firmly mated to my tranny. I can't install the damned gasket. There is a second gasket in the kit for mating the handle to the shifter, so I installed that, checked and reset the stop bolts, and it is quieter now. Most of my noise was 5th gear.

you shouldnt use the stop bolts for the 3650 it has internal stops. i also have the shifter gaskets and it is still loud. but nothing a radio cant cover up soo its not that bad.
