Default MAC X-Pipe help

hey, i just installed my mac o/r x-pipe on my 02 gt. sounds great, but.... it seems to rattle alot.. it is very apparent when i shift. when the rpm's fall down, the exhaust lets out a hellacious rattleing sound. it almost sounds like loose metal clanking together. it happens other than just shifting, but as i say, it is VERY apparent at that time. and i am not only talking at WOT. if i am just shifting through town like normal, it is still there. i did my best to see if all the studs were still tight, which they appear to be. i am at a loss, and need advice . thanks alot..

Default RE: MAC X-Pipe help

It may be loose like you say. You would need to get under there an tighten up the bolts... See if its wedge up against something that it keeps hitting. I would hate to say thats just how it sounds. You gotta get under there though either way. Sounds like it may be loose, or something very close to it is loose, which is rattling against it.
