Default exhaust question

whats goin on? i just got an 02 GT 5 speed a few weeks ago. i've been doing searches on this forum trying to find some info on a cat back exhaust. i am looking to spend around $400 and have been considering flowmasters or SLP's.

i've read a lot on here about both sets and would like some opinions. i want the deep muscle car tone that the flowmasters claim, but i've also heard that ths slp's give a crazy low sound, and from the clips i've heard it's true. i want a nice loud deep tone, but not one where people (and cops) can hear me from 2 blocks away.

also, what is the difference between the SLP LM1, and LM2?

one more question, will i need a sawzall to remove the stock cat back? i haven't had the chance to look under the car yet.
I will hopefully in the future upgrade the rest of the exhaust but not anytime soon, so i'd like to take that into consideration.
thanks

good luck not hearing your car from 2 blocks away if you go with a aftermarket catback I have heard my car with a friend driving from over a mile away

If you want the real deep low sound, you need to stick to a baffled muffler like the flows etc.

You will need a sawzall or something else to cut the stockers in 1/2, cause you cannot get em out otherwise.
