Default Mufflers

My 1999 Cobra has a Bassani Xpipe and the Ford Racing FR500 Catback. I think the Ford Racing mufflers sound like *ss.

What muffler do u guys recommend?

ForzaFlow, Flowmaster....

I love the sound of my flows. (40 series) Nice and deep sound. Super 40`s would be my next choice if I ever bought flows again.

2 chamber 40's. that hollow sound on a mustang can't be matched, especially at idle.

edit: better yet, when you hear a mustang that revs your engine (so to speak) flag them down and ask them what they have.

Get what you like.. I am sure you have heard and seen other mustangs that you have thought, Damn that sounds good.. Flag 'em down.. See what they got.. Most other mustang guys are pretty nice and friendly when it comes to that stuff..

I like my flowmasters.

however, my best advice is check out streetfire.net, mustangexhaust.com and exhaustsoundclips.com and find what YOU THINK sounds best and put that on. it's your car, so make it your exhaust
