Default 98GT vs. 67 Nova

One of my best friends has a 67 Nova hes been restoring and he wants to have a race agaisnt my 98 GT. I have a zex 125 Wet Shot of nitrous, K&N CAI, Hooker headers and a magnaflow cat back exaust. Do I have any chance of winning? From a rolling start or head ups. I wont be too dissapointed if I do loose seeing that hes a close friend but I'm just curious what you guys think the outcome might be?

How can we guess when you don't tell us the mods on the Nova? That year is very light so even without a radical engine they can be quick, but we still need more info.

What do you mean "stock" 350? Like a 67 stock? If so then you will kill him. I raced a 71 or a 70 NOVA in my LT1 camaro and blew his doors off. He had a 350 with a aftermarket cam. Anyways my LT1 camaro was even if not a little slower than my Mustang is. I also raced a 80 something Caprice with a mildly built 350.....it was ugly.

my buddy has a 72 nova with a built 350 that runs 13s... it still needs a lot of tranny and rear end work but the engine puts out around 400 horse... to give you an idea.

we need to know what he is doing with the car outside the engine too, is it an OEM restoration, a restoration to his liking? what is he doing to the engine? I know you said stock, bu twhat kind of fuel and exhaust setups?

which 350?? Anywhere from 180-375 stock HP depending on which 350 he put in it. He has you beat on weight by a few hundred lbs. or more dependening on which ChevyII or Nova it is.
