How about reading some proffessional reviews on how well the tires perform and then reading a good amount of user reviews to see what other people thought. There are plenty of good sources on the net that have done great performance testing on a wide range of tires.
Might be a better idea than buying tires based off what tread pattern looks "cool".

the G-Force Sports were my first choice...but dad was paying not me...we settled for the (made in japan) Falken cuz their treadwear rating was 440 as opposed to 340 for the BFG....i previously had Comp T/A HR4s same size..they SUCKED....but then they were H rated...the Falkens are a great tire too
