Default Question about Heads/Cams

Ok.. I have a 1996 Mustang GT Vert Automatic.. My buddy is getting a built motor and is getting rid of his regular one.. He has a 2002 Mustang GT, 5 Speed.. Now.. I was wondering if his Heads and Cams would fit into my engine.. I know that the newer edge mustang gt's had PI heads and such.. I was curious if I could do the upgrade.. If so.. It would boost my HP? And allow me to get the new Typhoon Intake Manifold that is coming out that bolts directly to the new edge Mustang GTs... Any comments would be a great help.

I think if you can get the whole motor it will save you alot of time just to swap them out.

I dont wanna steer you in the wrong direction but I always thought you would just have to get a diff flywheel or manifold or w/e the auto uses , but I am pretty sure it is do-able, thats how people make Cobras automatic for 1/4, a guy who went to the world ford challenge was telling me you wouldnt believe the automatic cobras.

yes they most likely will, I'm 99.99% sure, but wait till you get a 2nd opinion from someone on this board.

they fit like a glove. all you'll need is the aluminum crossover and the pi swap kit. (comes with all needed bolts and gaskets, ford sells them as a kit) and you'll need a pi manifold.

they will fit, but honestly... how many miles are on his engine? It would be a better idea to swap engines, and will be easier in the long run

I think he has like 45k and I have like 39k on mine.... I had to buy an Aluminum Crossover Intake Manifold because my regular piece of **** black one cracked in the front like they always do for my year.
