so i have a 98 saleen mustang w/o the s/c and i am trying to find out what kind of exhaust i should put on. I want to still like to be able to pass smog if I can but i would also like to add power and sound. IS the x-pipe or h-pipe better????? help me please

X pipe gives more HP. H pipe gives more TQ. Both sound great.

H pipe sounds better, the x is just a little louder.

Saying the H sounds better is of personal opinion and therefore not a valid arguement.

Just got my SLP catted X on today. That + my Borla stingers sounds amazing. My friend has a 03' Mach 1 with LT's BBK H pipe and magnaflow catback and my car absoloutely drowns him out, im not a big fan of his BBK H, but i have herd good things about the MAC H pipe

IMO H sounds wonderful. But if your looking loudness get the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and you will see some nice gains on the dyno.
