Did you get out and do the "oh what a feeling jump in the air" like the old toyota commercial after you hit 100,000?

I sincerely hope he did!

Look out for you valve stem seals. The modular engines are known to have those take a poo at 100k + miles. This will be noticed by startup smoke, but no running smoke. This has nothin to do with how well your engine will run, it's just a stupid problem. Mine started about 5k ago (got 112000 right now). A friend of mine has a 5.4 in his truck, he jus thit 103000 miles and his valve seals are toast. This results in having to top off oil between changes [:'(]

Other than that, just keep up the maintenance and don't really look for stuff to go, because if it's taken care of it will last and last.

Change oil, plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, if you haven't recently. Standard maintenance.

^ +1 just keep maintaining it, which I presume you have. As long as you maintain it properly it will last indefinitely.

what everyone said. 100,000 miles is not a big deal anymore, maybe with cars made in the 70's & 80's. but the newer stuff had better last at least 150,000 miles. my 94 ranger went 200,000 miles with constant abuse & neglect. woulda gone further but one day i decided to see what a collison was like.....
