Default 10 years old stil worth modding?

I only have 68k miles on my 96 GT, should I start modding or just look for a 99-04 GT, and looks doesnt matter b/c I like how mine looks anyway.

96-98 gt are kinda different stangs. i mean people mod them all the time but they are kinda resistant to most stuff. i guess depends on how fast u wanna go and how much $ u got to spend.

Hell, I have a 03 GT with almost 64K miles on it. After getting people's opinion on this very subject, this summer will be the beginning of a change for me. Do it if you want to.

Remember, it's much easier to buy aftermarket parts when you have no car payments. I shop ebay all the time because that's where I find the good deals (along with our classified section of course).

that's damn good mileage... i've got an 02 GT w/ 96k... mod it, you already own it, just do the PI swap first then go from there.

I say it depends on what you want out of it, I mean we all know that the sn95's dont have much to begin with and even modding them wont do all that much unless its a cobra. I too was in the modding craze and i kinda hit the brakes on modding because my 99 GT is nice and everything but when it all comes down to it i think to myself its still a 2v and yeh i can throw an s/c on it but its still limited possibilities, where as if i just wait and get a 4v it will be more like the sky's the limit. But thats just my 2 copper's......If you're not looking for anything too insane by all means mod it.

I would mod the car you have. Right now, you are hitting the ten year mark so insurance will drop. You have it paid for and no one expects much out of the SN95s. Your mileage is also real good. I personally would mod that up instead of upgrading.
