car runnin lean...
hey, I recently had my car dyno'd and it put out 228rwhp and 280tq but the dyno showed that my car was runnin really lean below 3500 rpm ...they guy said he could tune the car up and fix it but my sisters b/f is a mechanic and he told me to check my air filter and fuel line cuz it could b a clogged fuel line...
what r ur guys input on it and do u think that those hp and tq numbers r good for a stock GT even if its runnin lean?? thanks

Could be your MAF sensor is fouled. I've heard the dealerships use some type of alkaline solution to clean them. Don't use carb cleaner or something as it supposedly can mess 'em up good.

1: Do you have the check engine light on?? if you do check for codes and fix it!!! it would really hurt your engine if you are running it lean!! If you dont have any codes I wouldnt worry about it.. you car's computer would detect any engine trouble right away!..
2: Yor hp and torque numbers look good for a stock 99+ GT [sm=smiley20.gif]

If youre car was running lean i'd check for codes, then from there check the air filter make sure its not clogged, then check the mass air, could be a little sometihng on it. but if anything was horribly wrong, the check engine light would come on
