Yeh same here no offense to anyone that has one, get "what ever floats your boat" but the new stang is just too BIG and clunky looking for me i wish they would have just stayed with the 99-04 look and maybe just tweaked a few things here and there, but these crazy days old is in and new is out.
you may think that, i may think that too, most people in this section think that. ford didn't though, and they were right for doing so. when the new edge came out, you didn't have to special order one and wait like 3-4 months to get them. this was probably the best thing ford's ever done. i still prefer my 04. the last new edge before the body change.

alot of true mustang people think that, now i dont mean to offend any S197 owners, but i will say that 97% of them bought the car cause of A.) it looks like the one they had in high school B.) there rents bought it for them, or C.) just because of the mustang name

i had just test driven an 06 conv. i like the way that the hard tops look, but i just waunted to see how they feel & drive. i definatly was not impressed, the car looks bigger but in fact i found that the interior is smaller than my 98gt i have 2 kids & my son went with me and when he sat in the back he couldn't fit his feet in the back seat (he is only 5). i know that most people don't care about the back seat but for guys like me , you have to have a back seat or no mustang. back to your question , i considered an 05-06 until i drove one don't get me wrong they are nice looking cars but 30k for a gt come on , no way i'll keep what i got or upgrade to 03-04 cobra(way better deal)
