RE: cobra brake kit for mustang
Are they worth the money. Did track day last weekend and smoked my brakes. Had already installed drilled and slotted rotors and upgraded the fluid to super blue. Got to try something else.

I did the swap, and the how-to on it... so I can answer your questions if you have any.
I paid $400 for the front, $400 for the rear, +$75 a piece for slotted and drilled rotors... just go look in the how-to, I provided links to buy the kits and my suggestions.
Your factory brakes stop well enough below like 75 MPH, they are capable of locking up the wheels... with the new ones, I've been able to trigger the ABS at 105+... the pedal feels different, I need to look in to see if the Cobras have a different proportioning valve, but as it stands now, there's no denying there's an increase in stopping power.

I never had the stock ones, as the guy that owned mine installed all performance upgrades, then he himself upgraded to an white 03 cobra and sold me this car. I can tell you I'm very pleased with my brakes, although I've never been to a track of any kind.

I'll probably get that kit you posted the link to, seems to a decently priced complete kit. I'm still a little curious on how the whole procedure goes, since I've never done brakes before. I might have to email you about it to get more specifics when the time comes.
Aren't the rears quite a bit different than the fronts?
