I know they have diff. sets of standerds for there emissions, i live in tx, and my stang is from cali, so i was wondering if there is something on my car now that i can take off or something of that nature...

Depending on where you live in texas, you can take all that crap off the engine.. Anyway, i might be wrong but i dont believe there are "california" cars and "all others" anymore...

I believe in Dallas and Houston you have to have smog checks, no? Elsewhere in TX you dont... But the car should pass emissions in Texas if it wasnt altered...

ok so basicly what i keep asking (srry) is that cali doensn't make you put anything on your car that would deduct hp or noise or something like that?

all that crap reduces hp... what i,m trying to say is that there is no difference in a stang sold in tx an a stang sold in ca... nothing more an nothing less...

Don't know what your laws are but, there are prob 6 types of cats on your car, you only need two.
You might be able to eliminate the smog pump. that sucks like 5-6hp from your car.
I don't think either one affects your computer,but anything else will.
You def. need to bypasss the pump someway so it won't throw the engine light on.
