Are you adding extra pipping when you take the cats out? Or are you just gutting the cats?

Without an aftermarket midpipe I think you would need to turn the sensors off, I don;t think as far as I know there is a way to get MILs into a stock midpipe, especially if your adding pipping and such... Not 100% sure on this though. Someone correct me.

PS - an o/r Midpipe (o/r stands for Off Road) means that its a pre-bent aftermarket midpipe with no cats. The cats have been taken off already and the pipping is all sealed up.

You only need a pair, which is how they are typically sold. I have Steeda MIL's and haven't had a problem - although you'll hear a variety of opinions on which brand is best. As long as they are installed correctly and placed appropriately you won't have any problems out of them.
