mine skipped when it was cold so i had it replaced under warranty. the new one did the same so i punched it one day and it stopped. i cracked the screen though. but i went to tweeter on saturday and bought bostons components for the front and coaxials for the rear pioneer headunit and jl audio 300/4 amp. cant wait till its all in. lots of money but great sound.

They work fine to a point.. I have the 2 head unit setup as well.. well I did before I swapped it out. Its actualy very simple in the mustangs.. you just have to pop it out, attach an adapter to the harness, plug that adapter into your new deck, put the deck in, pull the cd player unit out, and put the blank place holder in its spot. 15 min job.
And for those that think the sound quality with the stock Mach 460 cd player is good.. you havent heard what JUST an aftermarket deck will do.. talk about an increase in quality and "loudness".. my stock deck's max volume would be about the equivilent of 17 on my new deck.. and it goes up to 30.. can hit 25 no crackling/poping.

the cd started to get stuck inside, i mean i had to pretty much push the f....ing eject button for like 50 times before the stupid thing gave me back a cd, the speakers are good for an stock stereo, i still have the speakers but a changed the head unit (a pain)got an amp and 2 12" in my vert, dont have a trunk anymore though[sm=icon_rock.gif]

Does the new CD player come with this blank place holder? Or do you have to order it from Ford or something? Just curious because eventually I'm sure I will need to get a new CD player.

i got mine (blank space) from dallasmustang.com for like 20 bucks
