Exhaust Leak

RE: Exhaust Leak
If all else fails.... Do what I did... I have 3 different brands of exhuast sections hooked up together.... Ford Motorsport Shortys, Mac o/r H-pipe, and Flowmaster 40 cat backs.... Everything fit sound except the driver side, where the end of the mid section hooks up to the header manifold... I tried everything, sealers, rebolting, bending.... nothing worked. That anoying ticking noise just continued. So what I did was spent about 40 dollars on about a 5 inch piece of stainless steal tubing to match my midsection in width and simple fabricated a "nipple" to fit around the manifold and I cut off a section of the mid-pipe and wielded the bad boy on.... Wah-lah! No more leaks, and she sounds beautiful! No one will notice. Don't wait to long though..... I heard that if you let those leaks continue, the steal "bend" themselves and then it is harder to fix.... I didn't wait that long, I couldn't stand that ticking sound for more then a few hours.
