I have a hurst super short throw shifter....the handle is a little tall for my taste but it shifts perfect and missing gears is a rarity. with a shorter stick i think it would be a hard shifter to beat.

MGW!!! (and reverse issues are common with these trannys, it's not the shifter) Install is cake....
oh, and MGW doesn't do two different handles anymore, they combined the best elements of the old ones to make one fantastic option...
also completely adjustable, you can put the shifter **** in any position 360 degrees around

I haven't tried a MGW, but I like my Steeda Tri-AX, I caught a deal on E-bay, $90. brand new, love it, very precise, I use the shortest setting for length, stock shift lever, quiet, no vibration, no missed shifts, end of story.
