I have the same problem on my 01 GT...I either put it in 1st, ease the clutch a bit, then go reverse, or the aforementioned 4th gear route...i'm also glad to hear others have this issue...don't you hate it when you think it's in gear, and let the clutch out just enough to hear that grind....[:@]
Yeah, I hate it too .... I was also happy to find out that I was not the only one having this issue with my stang. At first I thougt something was wrong with my transmission, but I guess its just a common flaw.
that little reverse problem happens to me also.
and it also happens when im at a stoplight and i go from neutral to first.
it doesnt budge, its impossible sometimes
yeah i'm pretty sure that it happens to all mustangs. at least that is how it seems to me. but yeah just put it in fourth first then it should slide into reverse.
