hahaha yeah, or when you have someone in your car for the first time and they are like, "this is a nice car." then you try to get it in reverse and it won't go and then they are like whats wrong with it? ... hahaha[:@]

pull the shifter boot and re-check the stop bolt on the shifter if you have a short throw shifter, this may be the problem

well I have a blu thunder trick stick and I have stops. My gears were all screwed up and I pulled the shifter off and reset everything. It took care of the rattling in the gears but I always had this problem reverse problem.

reverse is synchronized! It just has to go through an extra idler gear and 1st through 5th do not. revers is always a stubborn gear on any manual transmission. Sometimes let clutch out in neutral, then go into reverse. Occasionally you'll get a light grind which is normal. happens on my t45 and I have all new synchros

I remember when i first got the stang i got stuck on a hill with a high curb in front of me and i couldnt get the car to go into reverse. So picture this: everytime i tried to go back the car would start to roll forward into this gigantic curb. edventually i tried throwing it in 1st rev it quickly and then go over to reverse. it has seemed to work that way ever since whenever i get into that problem.

I'm not alone!!!! oohhhh reverse.....maybe if I sweet talk it.......nope. Never works.lol First gear, off the clutch a little, then reverse works like a dream. The saddest part is that when you get a really good reverse glide, you almost don't want to let it go.lol
