The PSI listed on the sidewall of the tire is the MAX PSI not the recommended.....recomended would vary depending on weight, etc of the vehicle. I'm still trying to figure out what to run on my 265/35/18 and 295/35/18 combo

Could you figure out the rear by doing small burnouts (not holding the brakes) and see what kind of tread pattern is left? If its centered in the middle and too narrow that would mean too much pressure right? rofl

The BFG website says to use the vehicles placard for tire pressure for their drag radial. And for the drag strip it just says to never go below 12psi. Ill have to check my placard but im pretty sure that means I am supposed to run 30psi in the rear drag radials, when on the street.

The guys mounting your tires should know what to run...ten to one it's what is recommended by Ford. Unless you like spending money on tires burning out is really a stupid way to find out if you've got the proper tire pressure! Plus you could get a ticket which is sure to raise your insurance rates...

its always by what the tag inside the door recommends. unless otherwise specified. i believe its always around 32psi. id recommend 28-30 in the rear and 30 - 32 in the front.
