so my friend found a debit card and with the prices in my area hitting 3.21 for regular at chevron(cheapest) he filled his tank about 40 bucks worth then he passes it on to another friend of mine who drives a 5.0 also about 40 bucks. How big of an offense is it to do this and what are the odds of getting caught.
your friends are fuggin theives and they will get theirs.....what goes around comes around

man I remeber when someone took my debit card number. I eventually traced with my HOME COMPUTER the exact person that used the card. and it turns out that someone at a mcdonalds I went to took down my number. I shut the card off and went to the guys house and beat the hell out of him. The moral of the story is there is just some people you don't **** with.

Seriously, lay off the boy. He asked what the penalties would be, not if there would be any.

I stole a couple years ago. Nothing HUGE but it was still stealing. I believe it was a Test bottle of cologne at PacSun or something. I felt bad and have never done it again. But to use a debit card with so much identity theft going around? Man IF they get caught your friends will get hit hard. Stay away from them dude because they might get you for Aiding and abedding (SP?). I'm not going to say they deserve to go to jail, and i'm not saying they don't. But if it were my cad I believe I would have me some redneck justice.

Its morally and legally wrong. I feel bad for the poor guy who lost it. Your friends should be ashamed of themselves.
