Default for anyone posting 4.10's or 3.73's?

I just got my 4.10's installed tuesday... and I have to say... holy ****!!! I don't know what 3.73's feel like but my car's feel makes me want to cream myself now... and I talked to 5 different drivetrain specialists and they said it was the best way to go and there is no chance or your rear end going... espessially in an auto
I know alot of it has to do with my set shift points and full dyno tune, but I know I wouldn't be nearly as quick and smooth without the 4.10's
4.10's FTW!!!

If you ever consider to go blown.... 3.73s have always been reccomended to me... And having driven a 02 gt 5spd with a KB blower first with 3.73s then 4.10s..... 3.73s are good enough. Those 4.10s... Wow, I was beat by everything off of a red light because the tires just would not grab anything. 3.73s were much more controllable and practical..... To me that is. Anyone else?

that I agree with 100%... I'm going the nitrous route though, so I will see me forced induction from a roll... but yes good point... blown=3.73's or possibly even 3.90's but I'm not familiar with the 3.90's as they aren't talked about alot

I have 3.90's and the reason I didn't go 4.30 was because as of right now I am planning on forging, juicing, and getting blown .. no pun intended... 3.90 is a healthy gear, I like it a lot.

I have 0 problems out of the whole with my 4.10's. Get better tires and work on your launching. You'll spin alittle, but its going to be more between shift where you lose traction.

Haha, he's was talkin about a KB blown car. If you can launch a KB car with 4.10s and street tires, you're my new hero.

Haha, I thought he was talking about his gt in the sig. Yeah a KB car with 4.10 in first is pretty much a tire killer. I would still like to launch one sometime though.

Yea. If I can rember correctly, he had the 2.2L tunner kit. I don't know how many horses but dang.... It was horrendous. O yea, and between 2nd and 3rd... I got a little scared because I was just fishtailing. I guess if I would have drivin it a lil more with some radials it wouldn't have been that bad. My friend never put the 3.73s back in. Now that we on the topic I should call him see how he's doing with the 4.10s. I never took it above 90 mph.... After all the car wasn't mine.
