I agree, if that's all you would be doing no. But if you have plans where the engines already out it wouldn't be a bad idea to put one on.

You dont need to pull the motor to put it in. Also it doesnt just give you a little more power it will make your engine last alot longer i would diffenatly but one

Ok so 4.6's you can pull the pan while in the car? Thats cool, then its worth it

It will still be a big hassel to get the oil pan off.

I also thought the windage trays helped keep the bottom end from torquing during hard acceleration.. Maybe I'm way off on that....

ive been looking at that thing on rpmoutlet.com for a couple of months im glad somebody started a thread about it. they say that when they made the cobra R they put one an there because the gains where awsome. i might give it a try.

Its only like 80 bucks so i might do it, but has anyone pulled there oil pan off before?

I have not heard that the 4.6Ls have alot of problems with windage, doesn't seem to be a popular mod.

You can acutally pick up like 10-15 RWHP on a foxbody by running it a quart low. Never do this on a modular though.
