Default Will 4.10's Work with KB s/c

I am lookin for new gears, i would like 4.10's but further down the road i am getin a KB s/c. i have heard with a KB there will be no traction with the 4.10's soo therefore i must get 3.73's. Can someone clarify for me once and for all whether i can get the 4.10's with the KB or must i settle for 3.73's??

of course they'll work. 4.30s will work with a KB. i'd do 3.73s for a KB, but don't listen to me. i've never owned a KB. 4.10s are nice for centrifugals though.

From what Ive heard, SOME people have a hard time getting traction w/o a blower and 4.10s. With that being said, don't get me wrong, there are people who run 4.10s with a KB, but unless you have some real slicks in the back there, I don't think you are going anywhere.

3.73s are good, Ive heard 3.90s are perfect. But I think 4.10s are a little much with a KB, especially wtihout some suspension work and tires.

If you can afford a KB, you can afford to change your gears if they are too much after the install

a centrifugal blower is a completely different mammal than a KB. comparing apples to oranges. KB's are full boost at like or before 2000rpm. centrifugals just start building boost at 3000. so it's not insane power. i got 3.73s with my vortech not knowing anything about gears back in the day. once everything is done on my car, 4.10s are going in. waiting for now. that $500 is better spent elsewhere.

2000, my car is getting dropped off tomorrow for the boost cooler!

You suck dude, how much did it cost you? I want a cooler bad but hell the paxton is 1400 bucks!

BTW, I don't want any more gear in my car with the tires i have. I spin on the street in 1st and then bog down in 2nd. at 420~ RWHP 3.73s are just enough for nittos on the street imo.

$500 for the cooler and safety kit for it. 200 for another tune. 200 for the install. friend and i were gonna install it, but that's something i don't want to risk screwing up.

soo in ur guys opinion would it be safer to go with a centrifugal as opposed to a KB... i still would rebuil the engine but i dunno now im kinda shakey from what im hearing KB seems like the road to breakin things!! In all honestly for the love and safety of the car would a centrifugal be better?
