just so everyone is clear the sct xcal 2 cannont just be reused on another car just becuase you return the stock tune to the car... the diablo predator can but NOT THE SCT it requires new tunes that you have to buy... so i bought the diablo predator so that when i later upgrade more and get a dyno tune i can sell the predator....

You can get a dyno tune with the SCT as well. And you don't have to buy new tunes for the SCT either. You can adjust them anytime you want yourself, or take it to a shop and get it dyno'd or get someone elses tune.

mself52 already has a Predator, and there is no reason to sell it because he can get a dyno tune with it. I don't buy new tunes for the Predator I have, it was a one-time charge for unlimited tunes.

guys my post was ment to let ppl know NOT TO buy used SCT tuners.... you can buy used predator as long as the tune was returned but will not work with the SCT xcalibur2 because it is programmed for your specific computer code.... trust me i tried to trade for one and it would not work.... called sct many times and only way to do it is to goto a dealer and get new tunes put on the SCT for YOUR computer code....so NEW sct or NEW predator are great but do NOT get a used SCT if you arent willing to fork out an additional wad of cash for new tunes for your car...

P.S. reason i got the predator is so that after i finish my mods i plan to goto a sct flip switch so that i can have two tunes one for nitrous one for street.... and i will be able to get some of my money back by selling my perfect condition returned tune predator....but you are correct both can be used at a dyno but i need the chip...
